To be eligible to take part, you must be at least 18 years of age.

To participate in the "We are Germany" photo campaign, you will need to upload your photo (depicting two people) and a brief explanatory text (approximately 300 to 400 characters) along with your personal data.

By submitting a text and photo, you grant Deutsche Welle the legal rights to publish them, in particular for an unlimited period of time on dw.de and DW's social media accounts along with your name and place of residence (e-mail addresses won't be made public).

No compensation will be paid. DW is under no obligation to publish any photos or texts. By submitting your entry, you ensure that you can assign the aforementioned rights.

You further guarantee that the other person pictured also consents to these terms and conditions.

By submitting your information, participants also grant their consent for Deutsche Welle to save their personal details. Data will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties. As a rule, we do not make your data available to others.

Deutsche Welle reserves the right to change or correct the terms and conditions at any time without notice. DW reserves the right to edit or shorten submissions for editorial purposes.
