Team Leader Education for Sustainable Development, Germanwatch, Bonn, Germany
Stefan Rostock currently holds the position of Team Leader Education for Sustainable Development at the Germanwatch office in Bonn. He is Coordinator for Climate and Development in North Rhine-Westphalia. He disseminates information on climate change science, global challenges and climate politics to youth organisations, partnership groups and interested activists.
In addition, he is actively involved in issues related to sustainability with a special focus on financial markets as well as on raising awareness on people mainly affected by climate change in southern countries. He is project leader of the international NGO Dialogue on Transformation (www.dialogue-on-transformation.org)
In earlier positions, he worked for the international environmental policy unit at BUND/Friends of the Earth Germany, the Heinrich-Boell-Foundation in Washington, D.C. and at the development organization ADEID in Cameroon (www.adeid.org). Stefan Rostock holds a Civil Service Exam, professional degree (M.A. equivalent) in Roman Catholic theology and geography from the University of Freiburg.
