Mónica Ramírez López is president of the Mexican Association of Cultural and Educational Radio and Television Networks and Director of “Radio y Televisión de Querétaro”. She is the author of “38 días a la deriva” (a journalistic novel) and “Efemérides Querétaro” (history). She is also a journalist with a degree in communication sciences. She has specialized in journalism at The Voice of America and at The Voice of Russia. In 2005, she received the television news award from the Mexican Federation of Journalist Associations. In 2001, the Mexican Journalist Club granted her a special mention for 25 years in journalism.
