Zen meditation is one of the easiest and most effective meditation techniques, but it takes a bit of practice to master it. Sit on a cushion in the lotus position, with your legs crossed and your back straight. Place your hands on each other in your lap, palms up. Now look at your left hand - just look. Don't let any thoughts pop into your mind. Look blankly at your left hand and try to feel the left portion of your body. That very action will activate your right brain. When the right brain activates, your thoughts will start disappearing, because all the logical thought processing happens in the left brain. After doing this exercise a few times, you’ll feel more peace of mind.
