This week the US sent drones to Syria to spy in preparation for possible airstrikes against the Islamic State, formerly known as ISIS. The crisis began when ISIS drove out many Yazidis and other minority groups from their homes in northern Iraq. As DW correspondent Reese Erlich reports from the Syria-Iraq border, the Yazidis have plenty of horrific stories to tell.
