Would you stop your whining already?

Your name doesn't have to be Susan, and you don't even have to be a woman to be called a Heulsuse.

People who whine about everything under the sun might be told off like this in German: "Don't be such a Heulsuse!" In German, "heulen" means to sob or cry with great gulps like a howling wolf. "Suse" is short for the female name Susanne.

Perhaps we'll hear the term "Heulmaxe" some day soon in the wake of gender equality - men can be crybabies, too, after all.
