It’s now 23 years since Latvia regained its independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union back in 1991. But the names of people who collaborated with the notorious Soviet secret police are still kept secret in Latvia. Now, parliamentarians are preparing to vote on a new bill that would allow these secret KGB files to be published from 2018. From Riga Ģederts Ģelzis reports.
