Will German thrillers crack the international market

Germany has a rich thriller culture and voracious appetite for all things Krimi, be it festivals, radio plays or books. Up to 500 crime novels are published each year in the country. But unlike their Scandinavian cousins, German thrillers have never cracked the English language market. Susan Stone has been trying to unravel this mystery.
