... but important opportunities as well. Women who took part in the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia have served as an inspiration for Muslim women across Europe. The Desertec renewable energy project in the Sahara Desert could create a wealth of new jobs in the region and produce clean energy for Europe, too. And Malta has become a model for integrating the latest waves of refugees fleeing upheaval at home - an important example for the rest of the continent.
