Victoria's Secret 2014 extravaganza
The US lingerie label Victoria's Secret brought its annual spectacle, along with the world's most beautiful models, to London for the first time.
Glitter galore
The Victoria's Secret 2014 Fashion Show dazzled guests at the Earl's Court Exhibition Centre on Tuesday in London with a mix of entertainment and lingerie presented by the world's top models.
47 girls
Hello, fantasy world. The models sashayed down the catwalk wearing lingerie and imaginative costumes: elaborate giant butterfly wings, full feather skirts, and shiny gold stiletto boots.
Parading and prancing
Karlie Kloss wore gilded angel wings made of 18K gold. The catwalk extravaganza reportedly cost $20 million (16 million euros) to produce - the priciest yet. This year, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran took the stage alongside the models, while US superstars Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande held their own on the runway.
London's secret
Created in 1977, Victoria's Secret is the lingerie market leader in the US. Marketing director Ed Razek says London was chosen as a location because of its "convergence" between fashion and music.
Yes, they're real
Accompanied by Ed Sheeran, top models Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio wore the famous Fantasy Bras encrusted with some 16,000 jewels. And we're not talking about fashion jewelry: Each bra is worth $2 million.
Nude Opulence
Glitz and sparkle for costumes: The legendary catwalk show marks the 12th year of Swarovski's partnership with the US lingerie label. Victoria's Secret has had stores in the UK since 2005.
