Reese McCrainie, spokesman for Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport told news outlets on Saturday that the bomb threats had targeted a Delta and a Southwest flight, both of which had landed without incident and the passengers had disembarked safely.

He added that a bomb squad and a dog unit from the Atlanta Police Department had conducted searches of both planes but that no bombs had been found.

McCrainie could not immediately provide details about the nature of the threats against Delta Flight 1156, coming from Portland, Oregon, and Southwest Airlines Flight 2492, from Milwaukee, but he did say that security officials had deemed them "credible."

He also said that the airport had since resumed normal operations.
