In our current report on almonds, a chef prepared yoghurt with almonds and roasted almonds. Here are the recipes.

Yoghurt with Almonds - a Healthy Breakfast
Ingredients:

150 g yoghurt
300 g shelled almonds
1 pear
a neutral frying oil
15 g raisins
10 g flax seeds
20 g oats
20 g rye flakes
honey
vanille sugar

Wash the pears, peal and dice. Heat the oil in a pan, put in the pears and almonds and lightly roast them. Put the yoghurt in a bowl and add the almonds, pears, raisins, flax seeds, oats and rye. Sweeten with honey and vanilla sugar if desired.

Roasted Almonds
Ingredients:
200 g sugar
300 g shelled almonds
300 ml water
oil
black carawayseeds

Mix the water and sugar in a pan and briefly bring to a boil. Add the almonds and cook until the water is nearly gone. On a baking sheet covered with baking paper, spread the almonds in a single layer. Heat the oil to about 160C and fry the almonds until they are golden. Put them back on the baking sheet and sprinkle them with the caraway seeds .
