In Nigeria, the government says it is in talks with the Boko Haram militant group to negotiate the release of more than 200 school girls who were kidnapped in April in the north-east of the country. But despite a ceasefire announced earlier this month, the violence has continued, including more reports of girls being abducted from their homes, and this week the seizure of another town, Mubi.
