The campaign to separate Church and State in Greece

Greece’s new left-wing government announced when it took power that it intended to separate Church and State in the country where every school day used to start with a prayer and priests were on the public pay-roll. In Athens our reporter John Laurenson has been finding out how, to an exceptional degree for an EU country, religion is intertwined with Greek public life.
