Music forges a new Berlin

In the early 1990s, Beethoven's 9th Symphony became the de-facto soundtrack for the fall of the Berlin Wall. But for people who were young adults around the time of the reunification, the sound of the new nation was probably more hip hop or break dance. The new beats heard in Berlin's techno clubs played an important role in melding East-West youth culture. Michael Scaturro has more.
