Test it! VW Touareg

Volkswagen presents the new-generation Touareg. It boasts a sharpened design at front and back, but the real progress is on the technology front. It has new assists such as standard-issue multi-collision brakes, and a new generation of the automatic distance regulator (ACC).

Add to that markedly more fuel-thrifty and in some cases more powerful V6 TD engines with EU 6 certification. We tested the three-liter TDI in the more powerful, 193 kW version. It official consumes only 6.6 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers.
