Earlier this month, the Swiss National Bank announced it was scrapping a cap in the value of the Swiss franc against the euro. Since then the mood in Switzerland's tourism industry has been bleak, even before the start of the peak holiday season. Abolishing the cap means that vacations in Switzerland will become more expensive for foreign guests.
