Swabian Mountains - the Environs of Hohenzollern Castle

The Swabian Alps in southwest Germany offers hikers the tranquility of its forests as well as breathtaking views of the region. Among the major sights is Hohenzollern Castle, one of the most frequently visited fortresses in Europe. It takes its name from the Hohenzollern dynasty, who gave Germany its last Kaisers. Right close by, we find a great spot for a picnic.
