Anyone planning to visit Stuttgart should definitely make time for a few cultural highlights. A performance at the Staatstheater is an absolute must. The Stuttgart Opera has won many awards, and is one of Europe's leading opera houses. Also known for its excellence - and for its controversial choreography - is the Stuttgart Ballet. Those interested in art should definitely pay a visit to the Staatsgalerie and the Kunstmuseum. Stuttgart also boasts two major automobile exhibitions: the Mercedes Benz Museum and the Porsche Museum.
