Strong dollar threatens US exporters

What goes up, must come down. That's what they are hoping at the Eastman Machine Company in Buffalo, New York, where the soaring dollar threatens its business with Europe.

Central bankers in Europe want to see the euro drop in value against the dollar as a way of boosting exports, and improving growth. That's great if you are selling products to America. But the other side of the coin is that American products are suddenly more expensive in Europe.
