Spiral of violence continues in Libya

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria has captured the world’s attention over the past few months, but al-Qaeda offshoots are also on the rise in North Africa --especially in Libya. The city of Benghazi is in the grip of the worst violence since the revolution in 2011. Hundreds of people have been killed since. The ongoing violence is taking it's toll on the community and forcing people to flee.
