Monika Seynsche is a freelance radio science reporter and presenter. She studied environmental science in Münster and Coventry as well as science journalism in Berlin, followed by an 18 months science journalism traineeship with German Public Radio (Deutschlandfunk). Since then she has been editing and presenting the daily science programme “Forschung Aktuell” on “Deutschlandfunk”. She reports on science topics for the BBC World Service as well as several Swiss and German radio stations (Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandradio Kultur, WDR, SWR, DRS2 etc). For her radio packages on renewable energies, climate and environmental topics she has received several journalism awards.
