As people approach retirement age, they usually hold a great deal of experience and knowledge about their profession. The German Senior Expert Service, or SES, wants to tap that knowledge. Based in Bonn, the SES first started sending volunteers abroad 30 years ago - since then, senior experts have worked in many projects all over the world, as well as teaching young people in Germany.
