Rome's underground pollution

Italy's capital city, Rome, has a long history dating back millennia. It also has a lot of buried history underground. But not all of Rome's underground is composed of ruins. Much of it is made up of a vast network of quarries. Today, they're not only posing a major problem for Rome but they've also turned into illegal garbage dumps.
