Reservists - Stopgaps for the German armed forces?

Every former soldier in Germany is in principle a reservist. The spotlight is now on them because the Bundeswehr is being completely revamped and it lacks personnel. In many areas, reservists are filling the gaps in the reformed Bundeswehr, but not everyone thinks that's a good idea.
