At the age of 4 Czech-born Eve Slatner was put on a "Kindertransport” train from Prague to Britain to save her from a Nazi concentration camp. Her guardian angel was British businessman Sir Nicholas Winton who saved 669 children. She later emigrated to the US but came to Berlin in the 1950s as an actress. On her first day here she met the man she married. At 80 years old she’s still acting.
