Welcome to the first edition of our PopXport Special. Over the course of ten shows, we'll be presenting Germany's most successful acts. This time around we concentrate on electronic and dance music. We'll bring you portraits of techno wizard Paul Kalkbrenner, chart-topping electronica artist Schiller, and electro boy wonder Zedd.

The new hit by Laing is called "Morgens immer müde" and it’s making the rounds on German radio. PopXport takes a look at the four-woman band from Berlin. We also introduce the boyband Neon Dogs, and dish up some electropop by Frida Gold. Our video clips feature singles by Tim Bendzko, the Beatsteaks, and an ‘80s cult classic by Camouflage.

Of the many labels you could put on Prinz Pi, laziness is certainly not one of them. He normally records an album a year, releasing number 15 in April. We learn where the Berlin-born rapper gets his ideas for that constant flow of new material. We also meet some more up-and-coming talents: indie popsters Wilhelm Tell Me from Hamburg.

Never change a winning team! So says up-and-coming German pop star Schmidt who’s been busy collaborating on new songs with tried-and-tested British producer Guy Chambers. Her inspiration comes from her love of London which is where popXport went to meet her. We also have a portrait of German-Iranian rapper Fard, and clips by Cascada, Tim Bendzko, Sportfreunde Stiller and Sash!

PopXport celebrates a milestone this week, with its 300th show! We plan to continue giving 100% - taking a leaf out of Udo Lindenberg's book. After more than four decades, the German rock legend is still going strong. A DVD is now available of his 2012 tour - we'll be taking a look at that. Also in the show: we catch up with Lena and show videos from Prinz Pi, Glasperlenspiel and Rammstein.

PopXport showcases excellent musicians and bands, highlights the latest trends and reports on major music events like the Berlin Music Week and the Echo Awards. Every edition has a fresh bulletin from Germany's pop scene as well as a quiz.

Music is his passion. He's played guitar and sung in three different bands. When Markus Schultze goes in front of the cameras for popXport, he knows what the artists he's introducing to the world have been through.

Her greatest passions are music and acting. Nadine has been singing in different bands and writing her own songs since she was a teenager. After graduating from high school, she studied Performing Arts in Hamburg.
