    "Chhole Kulche " is a dish from north india, that is loved by all generations and very quick to make and eat. "Chhole Kulche " is made with no oil, no fat and is as light as a feather. Seema thinks it is a pleasure to eat the meal right next to the huts beside a busy road, along with other hungry souls.

    Nutan´s snack from India is called "Kanawla"

    Nutan has sent us this dish. It's called "Kanawla" and is very well known in a community in the Indian state of Maharashtra. "Kanawla" is especially prepared during the "Diwali" festival - the festival of lights. The basic ingredients are rava (suji), milk, dessicated coconut, sugar, dry-fruits, wheat flour, poppy seeds, ghee, sweet rose petals and water.

    Lutz Danner reports that the native cuisine of the Bahamas is very unusual. Bahamians eat at least once a week "conch salad", consisting of a large snail, the "conch". The snail has to be cut out from the body housing, then cut into small pieces and get mixed with tomato, celery, onions and cucumber. In addition, they put fresh orange juice, lime juice, salt and hot pepper on top of it.

    Mauricio visited the Otavalo´s market in Ecuador and met Celinda, who sells croquettes made of cooked yucca or plantain. This Snack is called "verdes". Celinda fries or roasts the douhg-balls in a frying pan. Mauricio finds it very delicious. In other parts of Ecuador these croquettes are filled with chopped onions, meat, parsley, cheese and other tasty ingredients.

    "Kulcha" is one of the traditional staple breads. Unique: "Kulcha" is special because it is made by only one baker in the country of 180 million inhabitants. It is made with flour raised with yeast for 24 hours, and then baked in a clay oven. It is loved by the inhabitants of Lahore for its strong sour taste. It is served with spiced potatoes, fresh onions, green chili, and mix vegetable pickle.
