We as individuals or as an organization can and have to do things to prevent environmental problems from arising. Everyone has to be made aware of their role in the pollution problem.

My New Year’s resolution is that I will go everywhere by bicycle, not by car or scooter, because they pollute the atmosphere with their smoke and consume oil. I promise to tell my father to use a shared vehicle to go to the office or anywhere else, since he would use more oil and would pollute the air, if he takes his own car.

Water is the elixir of life. I will not waste a single drop of water. In fact, I have started practicing it. Each one of us should understand the value of water and must not waste it.

Only the outlines of two men and an elephant on the river Yamuna in New Delhi are visible. The holy river is extremley polluted by industrial effluents.

Finally, I promise to plant at least one plant every month and take care of it.
