It’s now been about six months since Russia imposed a ban on western food imports from the EU, US, and other countries in response to western sanctions over Ukraine. The result, Russian authorities claim, has been a boon to domestic food production. Charles Maynes has this profile of a cheesemaker outside of Moscow who's emerged as an unlikely poster boy for Russia's embargo on western goods.
