Kids won't eat their veggies? Girlfriend laughs at your lasagna? McDonald's promises to make everything "better!" with the click of a button. Only two things could stand between you and 500ml of pure happiness: 1) You don't live in Australia. 2) You're short 23,100.00 Australian dollars (app. 15,640 euros, $17,680) and counting.

Yes, you got that right: 23,100.00 Australian dollars. That's the price the fast food giant is currently asking for the first of its only 200 "Limited Edition Big Mac Special Sauce" bottles, it is #link:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/McDonalds-Limited-Edition-Big-Mac-Special-Sauce-Bottle-1-Charity-Auction-/151569649170?item=151569649170:auctioning off on eBay for charity.#

"For too long Big Mac Special Sauce has been trapped in a beautiful, delicious burger - now we've set it free!," McDonald's proudly proclaimed on its auctioning site.

With eight days left to go and bidders already in the triple digits, McDonald's is betting that the five-figure price tag will shoot up even further.

Sounds overpriced? To be fair, the super secret sauce does come in a fancy wooden box engraved with the eye-popping golden arches. Plus, some might consider it a small price to pay for what McDonald's promises in return.

"With 500ml to play with, you'll have enough to impress your friends at dinner parties, cheat your way to cooking show fame, and get elected as Prime Minister!"

McDonald's said 100 percent of the auction sale price would go to Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping seriously ill children and their families.

For those who want to get a taste of the goods before mortgaging their home, the company's 920 stores Down Under sell the special sauce in 25ml tubs for just 50 cents.

Maybe this will help make up for the sales slump that has inflicted the world's largest burger chain. At least as long as the secret ingredient in the special sauce won't spoil anyone's appetite - like the out-of-date meat and teeth, which were found in McDonald's food in China and Japan last year.
