Maltnutrition in Niger

In Niger, it’s easy to spot malnourished children. Niger is one of the world’s least-developed countries, and food resources there are desperately scarce. Yet the country has among the world’s highest fertility rates: each woman has almost eight children on average. Health workers and charities are promoting family planning to help get a grip on the situation.
