Making a statement with African tunes

Interview: Anne-Sophie Brändlin, BonnMarch 17, 2015

Namibian musician Eric Sell (also known as EES), is one of the rare white Africans producing a music genre called Kwaito, which originally emerged in the ghettos of Johannnesburg, South Africa. In the Pulse studio, he talks about the power of music, his collaboration with a man that once fought in a war against his father, and why he wants to introduce Europeans to the happy tunes of Kwaito.
