There are no official animal rehabilitation centers in Latvia - for instance, if a wild animal is hit by a car or injured by farming equipment. But there is one woman who has made it her life's mission to care for wild animals and give them a safe haven: the woman affectionately known in Latvia as the "mother of all animals."
