Where is Germany's gold?

For decades around half of the German government’s gold reserves (worth some $80 billion) has been stored in the US - in a vault deep below the Federal Reserve building in New York. Or at least that’s what the US authorities say. Some German politicians are asking - how do we know our gold really is there? Stephen Beard reports.
