Bulgaria grapples with an influx of refugees from Syria

Bulgaria is experiencing a surge in Syrian refugees who have fled there via Turkey. According to the UNHCR, 2,000 Syrians have arrived there over the past two years. While the numbers are relatively small, Bulgaria is struggling to absorb them. And many arrivals are languishing in camps with no heat, little clean water and surviving on donated food.
