eLearning Africa is the largest gathering of e-learning and distance education professionals in Africa, enabling participants to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts and partnerships, as well as to enhance their knowledge, expertise and abilities.

DW's Learning by Ear is an eLearning Africa media partner for the eLearning Africa 2014 conference in Kampala.

Germany - Land of Ideas

Learning by Ear is one of the selected Landmarks 2010 of the "Germany - Land of Ideas" contest, whose patron is Germany’s former Federal President Christian Wulff. From the more than 2,200 applications received from companies, research institutes, art and cultural institutions, community and charity projects and initiatives, a panel of 18 judges picked the winners in seven categories. They demonstrate the potential of Germany as a place of innovation.

e-Taalim

The e-Taalim weblog provides free and independent information in English, Arabic and French to executives and professionals in Africa and the Arab countries about the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Media for lifelong learning. It aims to offer the latest news in corporate e-learning and blended learning as well as information about e-learning institutions. “e-Taalim” stands for “electronic Taalim” and “Taalim” means “Education” in Arabic.
