Knee pain and traditional Chinese medicine

According to the German Acupuncture Trials, patients with knee pain often feel better after acupuncture treatments than those who use standard ‘western’ therapies. We visit a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, who uses acupressure, a massage technique based on similar principles to acupuncture, to treat knee pain.
