Many younger fans may not have heard of Kurt Landauer. However, champions Bayern owe the former club president a great deal.

Rediscovering Kurt Landauer

He was in charge of the club when they won their first German championship in 1932. Shortly after, he was removed from his post by the Nazis, before being imprisoned in a concentration camp. He managed to flee to Switzerland and, after the end of World War Two, was named as president once again. Kick Off! pays tribute to Kurt Landauer.
