For four days, teams made up of German and Kenyan journalists exchanged views and co-produced reports. It was a unique opportunity for learning new perspectives and gaining insights into each other's media environment.
The four-day Nairobi Media Dialogue offered new experiences for the 12 Kenyans and Germans who took part. In bi-national teams of two, the radio, print and online journalists researched topics having a political, cultural or social focus. The goal was to produce reports for their own media which reflected their personal - as well as their cultural - perspectives.
The "African Stories" Media Dialogue was funded by Germany's Federal Foreign Office.
