First secure the accident site and then get help as quickly as possible. If someone is unconscious, check to see if the victim is still breathing. Put your check against the mouth and nose of the victim to see if you can sense breathing against your skin and whether the chest is rising and falling. If not, begin hands-only CPR and artificial respiration.
