You can contact the Student Advisory Service with questions about finding a job or planning your career. They offer personal and individual support in the following areas:

  • Consultation and support in finding an internship (placement opportunities with Deutsche Welle)
  • Support for your questions regarding applications: From putting together a CV and portfolio to providing coaching for your interviews
  • Providing and updating a homepage to help in searching for specific information and establishing personal contacts
  • Seminars and workshops in the areas of job search, career planning and occupational integration
  • Networking for an exchange of know-how between students, interns and alumni
  • Cooperation with the Center for International Migration and Development (CIM)


For students from developing and emerging countries, CIM provides occupational perspectives from their countries of origin or from other developing and emerging countries. CIM provides targeted and individual information and consultation, a job service, networking and financial aid for graduates.
