Infofilm: What's causing acidity in the oceans?

Our oceans are becoming increasingly acidic due to carbon dioxide. It's not only responsible for rising atmospheric temperatures; it's also in the seas. A third of carbon dioxide emissions is absorbed by the oceans.

That's having serious consequences, especially for marine life. The food chain is being disrupted. The disappearance of small marine life has an impact on larger creatures, and will eventually affect us, too.
