Korinna Horta has more than 20 years of experience in environmental policy analysis and advocacy. She has been a Yale University Stimson Fellow and a guest lecturer at universities in the U.S. and Europe. From 1990-2009, she served as a senior scientist at the Environmental Defense Fund in Washington, D.C. At present she works on international finance, environment and human rights at Urgewald, a German NGO. Since 2010 she has also served on the Compliance Review Panel at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C.
Horta holds a Ph.D. from the University of London, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. and a degree from the Universidade Nova in Lisbon.
