Germany’s oldest vines

For more than 400 years, the „Rhodter Rosengarten” vineyard in the German town of Rhodt has been producing first-class wines. According to lore, the vineyard has existed prior to the Thirty Years’ War which shook Europe in the 17th century. If this is true, the Rosengarten is one of the oldest vineyards still producing wine.
