Germany Today - Window on Germany

On this edition, we're in Altglashütten - a Black Forest village soon to be home to 50 asylum seekers. That's causing problems because the village is a winter sport resort. We take a look at how rescue dogs are chosen. And in our Video of the Day we visit a Bavarian in Berlin who's bringing a bit of Bavaria to the residents of the German capital.

Weißbier or wheat beer, a cheese spread called Obatzda, and a smoked sausage known as Bauernseufzer - all these are Bavarian specialties that Boris Priebe sells in his delicatessen. As a native Bavarian, he sees it as his mission to show Berliners how very special the Bavarian way of life is. And he's having great success. His shop, Weiss-Blau is always filled with customers.
