A sound of their own

They sound as if they were old-time Pink Floyd meeting up for drinks with The Police and coming up with the idea of recording a Muse album with a lot of echo. But they're The Intersphere and come from Mannheim.

Actually, some time ago, Christoph was merely looking for musicians who would help him record his own compositions during a few jam sessions. But together, the four members realized they could do a lot more - with their second album, "Interspheres-Atmospheres," now being released in the United States.

The group participated in the 2008 edition of "PopCamp," an educational seminar for up-and-coming pop music stars in Germany who want to learn everything about the business - from singing and performance techniques to contracts and copyrights.
