France confronts its slave trade past

French President Francois Hollande has been island hopping in the Caribbean this week visiting French territories. On France's national day of remembrance of slavery and abolition, Hollande stopped in Guadeloupe to inaugurate a new memorial there. It's a former French colony and still an overseas administrative department of France. Jake Cigainero has this report.
