All year around on the Mediterranean island of Corsica, centuries-old polyphonic music is closely tied to a proud national identity. Not so long ago, polyphonic chants seemed headed toward extinction. Today they're enjoying a comeback. Men have traditionally dominated the chanting, but Lisa Bryant reports from the northwestern village of Pigna where women are gaining a bigger voice.
