Up to 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered at the hands of Ottoman Turks between 1915 and 1917. Although more than 20 countries have recognized the killings as genocide, Turkey has long rejected the term. DW talks to an Armenian from Turkey, now living in Germany, about what that means.
